Using the setup presented for the spectral measurement in the IR region we considered a hot plate as a target. In this case, the laser used for reference is diffused on a chalk placed on the hot plate.

The surface of the body is covered by different materials having different emissivity:

• cast iron,

• aluminum foil,

• chalk powder (CaCO3).

Temperature measurement does not depend on the irradiance of the surface.
